Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity
- Implement and optimize inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and minimize waste
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing teams to streamline logistics workflows
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed
- Generate operational reports and KPIs for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years warehouse experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Proven expertise in inventory management systems (WMS) and logistics software
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment proficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve operational challenges
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Associates degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
