Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and ensuring safety compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Conduct weekly equipment inspections (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Implement lean principles to reduce operational waste by 15%
- Train staff on new equipment and safety protocols
- Generate performance reports for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification required (equipment provided)
- Strong analytical skills for inventory control
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
