Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15+ warehouse associates with performance metrics
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident-free operations
- Optimize warehouse layout, processes, and technology for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with procurement, transportation, and sales teams
- Conduct regular cycle counts and ensure 99.5% inventory accuracy
- Analyze KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Forklift certification and familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management preferred
- Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement projects
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
