Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Coordinate daily receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment operations
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency
- Conduct regular cycle counts and manage inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with transportation team for seamless dock scheduling
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics/supply chain
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends as needed)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with inventory control and lean methodologies
