Responsibilities
- Lead 15+ warehouse staff through daily task delegation, performance coaching, and shift scheduling
- Implement lean principles to optimize inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and space utilization
- Ensure OSHA compliance through rigorous safety audits, equipment training, and hazard mitigation
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing teams
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse functions
- Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive KPI achievement
- Manage inventory control systems including cycle counts and reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator credentials required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process optimization and cost reduction
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Proven track record of reducing shrinkage and improving order accuracy rates
- Excellent leadership abilities with conflict resolution and team development expertise
