Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of temperature-sensitive goods
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates, ensuring safety and productivity standards
- Implement and optimize inventory control systems (WMS experience required)
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA/HAACP compliance
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with transportation and quality control teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervision experience in cold chain or logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification and HACCP training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid Alaska driver's license and clean driving record
