Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and lead 15+ team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and productivity standards
- Implement process improvements to optimize space utilization and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure on-time shipping and receiving schedules
- Generate performance reports and analyze KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as needed
