Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching
- Implement lean principles and process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Utilize WMS (Warehouse Management System) to monitor inventory accuracy and operational metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows with transportation, purchasing, and customer service teams
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain incident reporting documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience in a high-volume distribution environment
- Proven expertise in inventory control systems and WMS implementation
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational KPIs and data reports
- Excellent leadership abilities with demonstrated team-building experience
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons
