Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping processes
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and productivity
- Implement and optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and safety protocols to maximize efficiency
- Conduct regular inventory audits and manage inventory accuracy within 99.5% tolerance
- Coordinate with transportation carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve operational challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
