Responsibilities
- Manage 20+ team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring timely dock-to-stock processing
- Implement lean methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct daily safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for maximum space utilization
- Generate and analyze KPI reports for productivity metrics
- Coordinate with transportation and procurement teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA Forklift certification and advanced safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs by 15%+
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with inventory control systems and cycle counting
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
