Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of inventory.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent stockouts.
- Develop and implement workflow improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and lead safety meetings.
- Handle conflict resolution and performance reviews for team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
- Forklift certification and ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
