Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure OSHA compliance and accident prevention
- Optimize inventory management systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Monitor KPIs including productivity metrics, accuracy rates, and on-time delivery
- Process and maintain accurate documentation for inventory, shipments, and incident reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in a distribution center environment
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to operational detail
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
