Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15-20 warehouse associates to ensure peak productivity and safety standards
- Optimize inventory management systems to maintain 99.8% accuracy in receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Implement lean methodologies to reduce processing time and improve workflow efficiency
- Conduct daily safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional communication between receiving, inventory, and shipping departments
- Analyze performance metrics and develop data-driven improvement strategies
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure proper operation of forklifts, scanners, and conveyors
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience with team leadership responsibilities
- Forklift certification and advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and reducing operational costs
- Strong problem-solving abilities in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management training
- Proficient in inventory control methodologies and cycle counting procedures
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train and motivate diverse teams
