Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise 15+ warehouse staff to ensure optimal productivity and safety compliance
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems with 99.5% accuracy targets
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics including receiving, stocking, and shipping operations
- Conduct daily safety audits and enforce OSHA regulations to achieve zero-accident goals
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows using lean principles to reduce processing time by 20%
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with transportation teams to resolve delivery exceptions and bottlenecks
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisor role
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operator certification required
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Oracle or Manhattan
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and safety compliance regulations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts
- Data-driven approach to inventory management and process optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Experience with union environments a plus
