Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise a team of warehouse associates, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular audits of inventory systems and physical stock counts
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and shipment coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities and performance metrics
- Enforce OSHA compliance and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of team leadership and staff development
- Familiarity with WMS systems and inventory control methodologies
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret performance data
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Forklift certification required
- Experience with cross-docking and JIT inventory systems
