Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Train and manage team of 10-15 warehouse associates in safety protocols and productivity standards
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless material movement and inventory accuracy
- Utilize WMS systems to monitor KPIs and generate performance reports
- Resolve operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle) and inventory management software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment expertise
- Data-driven approach to problem-solving with analytical mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
