Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a productive and safety-conscious environment
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules and ensure all provided machinery operates optimally
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, providing thorough training on equipment usage
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Generate and analyze operational reports to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- Proven expertise in inventory management systems and warehouse software
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management experience
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop teams
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
