Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor 15+ warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize daily operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure OSHA compliance
- Manage warehouse equipment operations including forklifts and conveyor systems
- Develop and improve operational efficiency through process optimization
- Prepare reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and safety metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with purchasing, transportation, and customer service teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environment
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
- Proven ability to analyze operational data and implement improvements
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
