Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to optimize stock placement and reduce waste.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and equipment maintenance checks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Prepare and review daily shift reports, tracking productivity metrics and addressing performance issues.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve logistical challenges efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience with a proven track record of team management.
- Forklift certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) or MS Office Suite.
