Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and safety
- Implement lean principles to optimize inventory control and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing teams to maintain efficient supply chain flow
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Utilize WMS systems to monitor inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership skills with ability to train and motivate diverse teams
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
