Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate inventory management.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a secure working environment.
- Lead, train, coach, and schedule a team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate shipments, and ensure accurate order fulfillment and delivery.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment to identify discrepancies or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with logistics managers to improve shipping processes and reduce turnaround times.
- Handle conflict resolution and employee performance evaluations effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Proven experience leading a team in a fast-paced distribution center.
- Forklift certification and valid driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business is a plus.
