Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Implement lean practices to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and coordinate repairs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Manage inventory control systems and accuracy reporting
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with equipment handling focus
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation skills
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with inventory optimization techniques
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
