Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ team members in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Implement lean inventory management systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Conduct daily safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency using WMS software
- Train and mentor staff on operational procedures and safety protocols
- Generate weekly performance reports and implement improvement strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
