Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates with flexible scheduling coordination
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all work areas
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and loading/unloading
- Generate performance reports and analyze operational metrics for continuous improvement
- Manage inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records using WMS systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience in distribution or logistics
- Proven ability to manage flexible work schedules and remote team coordination
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment operation
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
