Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods
- Manage and mentor team of 10-15 warehouse associates with flexible shift scheduling
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory control systems and warehouse layout for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely delivery scheduling
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions for staff development
- Utilize WMS software for inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience in distribution or logistics
- Proven ability to supervise teams in fast-paced environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to operational detail
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
