Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile stock levels to ensure accuracy.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing performance feedback to team members.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse layout to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operational metrics and team performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in logistics or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training are required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as business needs arise.
