Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff during flexible shifts, ensuring task prioritization and productivity targets
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems, including cycle counts and WMS operations
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including loading/unloading shipments and route optimization
- Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance, conducting regular safety audits
- Train and develop team members on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and warehouse procedures
- Generate performance reports and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with transportation and procurement teams to resolve supply chain issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience with proven team leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions during peak hours
- Excellent communication abilities for coordinating cross-functional teams
- Flexible availability to cover various shifts (early morning, afternoon, evening)
- High school diploma or GED; associate degree in logistics preferred
