Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure optimal workflow and inventory accuracy.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, conducting shift rotations, training, and performance evaluations.
- Enforce strict safety and compliance protocols (OSHA standards) to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and coordinate regular stocktakes.
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements to reduce downtime and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with supply chain managers to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management (3+ years minimum).
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
- Familiarity with industry-standard WMS software (e.g., Manhattan, SAP, NetSuite).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
