Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to move inventory within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocktaking, receiving shipments, and ensuring accurate inventory counts using remote tracking software.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Team Coordination: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to streamline daily warehouse operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and warehouse machinery.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication Skills: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required for this role.
