Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance measures to create a secure work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators to optimize shipping schedules and reduce delivery times.
- Train new staff on equipment usage, safety procedures, and company software.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Lead (minimum 3 years).
- Strong background in inventory management and logistics operations.
- Forklift certification and physical ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) or MS Office Suite.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field is a plus.
