Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates through performance coaching, scheduling, and conflict resolution
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards across all operations
- Optimize inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate transportation schedules and dock assignments
- Analyze operational metrics to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Manage equipment maintenance and coordinate with vendors for repair services
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience with 1+ years in supervisory role
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and warehouse technology
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate diverse teams
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control procedures and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
