Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Train and supervise 15+ staff members, ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain accident-free environment
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct regular audits
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and space utilization
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless logistics flow
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution expertise
- Proven track record of meeting KPIs and deadlines
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
