Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage 15+ team members, ensuring productivity targets and safety protocols are met
- Implement lean practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency by 20%+
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate WMS data
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing departments
- Develop training programs for staff and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs by 15% or more
- OSHA 30-Hour and forklift certification required
- Expert knowledge of WMS (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory control systems
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Excellent leadership abilities with conflict resolution expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
