Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, stocking, and inventory control procedures to ensure 100% accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and accountability.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards at all times.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules, working closely with logistics partners to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Conduct regular safety audits, equipment inspections (e.g., Forklifts, PPE), and training sessions.
- Prepare and review operational reports to track KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a warehouse supervisory role or similar operations management position.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Required).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and Warehouse Management Software (WMS).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate staff under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and overtime during peak seasons.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
