Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Optimize workflow processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase throughput.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment inspections to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification and ability to obtain additional certifications if required.
- Proven track record of managing teams and meeting KPIs regarding safety, quality, and productivity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and overtime as needed.
