Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse staff, ensuring performance and safety standards
- Implement and optimize inventory control systems to maintain accuracy
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams for seamless operations
- Enforce OSHA compliance and maintain a safe working environment
- Generate reports on productivity, inventory levels, and operational metrics
- Resolve operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of warehouse management/supervisory experience
- Proven expertise in inventory control systems (WMS preferred)
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Proficient in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
