Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate all inbound, outbound, and stockroom warehouse activities to ensure maximum efficiency and timely order fulfillment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage inventory control systems to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and safe work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free workplace for all employees.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse workflows and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is required; Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) is a plus.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of warehouse associates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
