Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Operations Management: Oversee inbound and outbound operations, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and timely order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance for forklifts and material handling equipment to prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role within logistics.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or certification in Supply Chain preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead effective team meetings.
