Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee the daily receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage stock discrepancies to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, is maintained and operational.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and managing personnel in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification: Forklift certification and knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
