Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates through hands-on guidance
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory counts and shipping records
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Optimize workflow efficiency and troubleshoot operational challenges
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred but not required)
- Strong willingness to learn warehouse operations and management principles
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication skills for team leadership
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license (required for facility equipment operation)
