Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and shipping
- Train and lead a team of warehouse associates on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts
- Address performance issues and foster a positive team environment
Qualifications
- No prior supervisory experience required – we train from the ground up!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
