- Manage and schedule warehouse staff, ensuring adequate coverage during shifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts.
- Enforce strict safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free working environment.
- Train new employees on proper handling procedures and company policies.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to meet delivery deadlines and customer demands.
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior supervisory experience required; leadership potential is a plus.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
