Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and daily performance feedback to ensure high productivity.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure order accuracy and meet daily targets.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a zero-accident workplace environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and manage discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure forklifts and material handling equipment are properly maintained and operated safely.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience required. We provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
