Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock counts to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Review shipping and receiving documents to ensure accuracy and timely processing of orders.
- Maintain and inspect warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and management to streamline logistics processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory if you are willing to learn.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
