Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and mentor team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and efficiency standards
- Implement inventory control procedures and conduct cycle counts/audits
- Optimize workflow using lean methodologies and WMS systems
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Manage performance metrics and KPIs for productivity and accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation and procurement teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn WMS software
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Valid driver's license (required for equipment operation training)
- Willingness to complete paid training program (8 weeks)
- Forklift certification provided during training
