Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the face of our daily operations. Your role involves managing staff, monitoring inventory, and ensuring that all shipping and receiving processes run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage stock accuracy to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Train new employees on operational procedures, equipment usage, and company policies.
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements to boost productivity and reduce waste.
- Manage shipping and receiving duties, including quality control checks and documentation.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment inspections.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is essential.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is required.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills.
