Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and performance improvement plans for staff members.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification is mandatory.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
