Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor team of 15+ warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity
- Implement inventory control procedures and conduct cycle counts to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate transportation and inventory management
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify improvement opportunities
- Manage warehouse technology systems including WMS and inventory tracking software
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour safety training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational data
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics preferred
