Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct and supervise a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations to maximize productivity.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the daily workflow of receiving, storage, and shipping to ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-accident workplace and conduct regular safety drills.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure inventory integrity.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current logistics processes and implement improvements to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between management and staff, reporting on operational metrics and addressing team concerns.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of warehouse associates.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification is highly desirable.
