Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15-20 warehouse associates to achieve productivity targets
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization and efficiency
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing teams to ensure seamless logistics flow
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- Proven leadership skills with ability to develop and motivate diverse teams
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and warehouse best practices
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment operation
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
